National Savings & Premium Bonds
To research yourself call 0845 964 5000, or visit the National savings website at www.nationalsavings.co.uk.

You will need your Holders Number to check for unclaimed premium bond prizes.

Occupational Pensions
If you worked for a company that provided a pension scheme, you may have accrued some pension rights. In some cases you begin to accrue pension rights after as little as 2 years.

To trace a scheme, call the Pensions Tracing Service on 0845 600 2537 and ask for a Tracing Request Form. You can also write to them at:

They will provide the names of the Trustees or Administrators with whom you need to pursue your enquiry.

Dormant Building Society Accounts
Contact the Building Societies Association at www.bsa.org.uk/ConsumerInformation/HowToTrace.asp or telephone 020 7437 0655 and ask for the BSA's consumer line requesting a Dormant Account Scheme Leaflet. The service is free and covers all UK building societies.

Dormant Bank Accounts
Contact the British Bankers' Association as www.bba.org.uk or telephone 020 7216 8909 and ask for a Dormant Accounts Claim Form. The service is free of charge.
