It takes about 10 minutes to complete the online search form. You will be asked for your past addresses, so you might find it helpful to have these to hand before starting the process.
You can only search for lost assets in your own name with this form. If you are searching for assets in another person's name, as an executor, for example, please return to the previous page and either print off the form or ask us to send you one in the post.
The UAR contains information on unclaimed life policies, pensions, dividends and unit trusts. The cost of searching is £18.
